Joining a company as Data Architect consultant, building an comprehensive Datawarehouse initiative for a multi-million Dollar company ,faced with a challenging task of using diagramming tool to define the data warehouse tables structure in addition to other tools to define ELT loads and more tools to document analysis and collaboration tools

We throw the idea of using a professional dedicated Data Modeling Design tool for efficient development and collaboration , however we were faced with a challenge of how complex these tools are to use , with the entire team had no issue in using the simple diagramming tool , shifting to "More professional DW Design tool" requires training , learning curve and cost ,which became very hard to justify to leadership..
